Accounts & Eligibility
Legitimate businesses and government entities that conduct housing lotteries: public housing agencies, government housing departments, housing finance agencies, redevelopment and community development authorities, nonprofit administrators, affordable-housing developers and managers, and tribal housing authorities, across the mainland U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii. The registration form takes only a few minutes, and confirmation is usually automatic.
No. Registration is free, and there is no charge for holding an account.
Most organizations are confirmed for eligibility automatically and can get started right away. If your registration needs a closer look, our team completes the review within 1–2 business days and you'll hear from us either way. Every approved account receives the complete Getting Started Guide by email.
As long as they're using a work email address on the same domain, up to 100 people from your team or agency can join the account at no additional cost, each with an individual login and permissions set by your account manager.
Yes, that's the design. Your account manager controls who can incur charges and spend, who can access data and deliverables, and how members must sign in, with optional IP allowlisting. See Security & Privacy for details.
Scheduling & Running Lotteries
A typical lottery takes about two to three hours from start to finish.
Generally 2–3 hours out from the time of confirmation. An expedited service add-on is available if a lottery needs to start within the hour, and a typical run still finishes the same business day.
As far as 3–4 weeks out, and sometimes more, depending on account settings.
Yes. Lotteries don't need to be scheduled the moment they're created. If your team is still gathering information, you can update a lottery's applicant data and settings as often as you'd like before it is scheduled. Once scheduled, the settings and applicant data are locked.
Yes. Live progress and remaining time for running lotteries are available to your team in AuditDraw Express.

Results, Privacy & Verification
It is destroyed. Applicant data exists only inside the sealed environment that processes your lottery and is purged completely once your deliverables are generated. An untouched copy of your original source file is returned to you inside the archive, for your records.
The moment a lottery completes, an email goes out to the recipients you have pre-approved, carrying a secure download link for the full deliverables .zip archive. The archive is available for download for 30 days and the delivery email can be resent as many times as you'd like; after that, both the Public Record and Agency reports can continue to be available for download by authorized account members for a period you specify, and certificates are always available for download to account managers.
No. Public records, lottery certificates, and safe server logs never include your agency's name or any contact information. The registry cannot be browsed, and completed lotteries cannot be located by name alone. Only the individuals you choose to share a Certificate Key with can see the verification page, which displays the lottery's name, number of entries, and completion date (in UTC), and nothing more.
Anyone holding a Certificate of Authenticity can scan its QR code or enter its Certificate Key on the verification page and confirm the record in under a minute, with no account and no phone call. See Verification & Records for the full walkthrough.
Yes, available on request. Please contact us for details.
