Verification & Records
A result is only as strong as your ability to prove it.
Every AuditDraw lottery produces a complete, self-contained evidence package, with records that any stakeholder can verify independently, without contacting AuditDraw and without exposing agency or applicant information.
One archive. Everything an auditor could ask for.
Every lottery returns a single .zip archive, organized so an auditor, a stakeholder, or your own team can find exactly what they need.
A plain-text overview of the run: timing, options used, column roles, the file inventory, and the completed lottery's Certificate Key.
The complete Completed Housing Lottery Record and Audit Report: end-to-end evidence from intake through final results, including the full draw order, for internal and audit use.
The same report prepared for public and stakeholder eyes, with all applicant personal information and agency details removed. Suitable for board packets and public-records responses.
A shareable, independently verifiable proof that AuditDraw performed the lottery, carrying AuthentiKey signatures, a Certificate Key, and a QR code for instant verification.
The full results in three formats, including all pass-through columns, with matching "Safe" versions of the CSV and JSON that have sensitive data removed.
The server's processing log, written live during the run, with a timestamp for every action, plus a "Safe" version for sharing.
An untouched copy of the exact spreadsheet you submitted, preserved for the record.
"Safe" means public-ready. Any file with "Safe" in its name has had personally identifiable information removed, so it can be shared with stakeholders or the public without exposing applicant details, or your agency's.
The moment your lottery completes, an email goes to the recipients your account manager has pre-approved, carrying a secure download link for the full archive. The archive remains available for download for 30 days and the delivery email can be resent as many times as you'd like; after 30 days, the two reports and the certificate can continue to be available for download by authorized account members.
Proof anyone can check in under a minute.
The Certificate Verification Registry provides verification for every lottery AuditDraw has performed. Anyone holding a certificate (a board member, an auditor, an attorney, a journalist) can confirm its authenticity without contacting AuditDraw and without an account:
1 Open the certificate's record online.
Scan the QR code on the certificate, follow its verification link, or paste the Certificate Key into the verification page.
2 Compare what you see.
The online record mirrors the certificate itself: the same lottery name, Certificate Key, entry count, completion date, and signatures. If they match, you are looking at a genuine record of a lottery AuditDraw performed.
3 Check a file for tampering (coming soon).
An upcoming feature will let anyone upload an AuditDraw server log or results file and have its AuthentiKey signatures checked against the record, confirming the file is genuine, unmodified output.
Why this can be trusted. The registry record and the certificate are two halves of the same proof. The record is created by the sealed server that ran the lottery, at the moment of completion. It cannot be added to, edited, or recreated afterward, by anyone. A certificate that matches its registry record is evidence that the lottery happened exactly as documented, on the date shown, with the results signed.
Controlled sharing. The registry cannot be browsed, and completed lotteries cannot be located by name alone. Only the individuals you choose to share a Certificate Key with can see the verification page, which displays the lottery's name, number of entries, and completion date (in UTC), and nothing more. Public records, certificates, and safe server logs never include your agency's name or contact information.
Tamper-evident, mathematically.
AuthentiKey signatures are generated from the complete lottery data inside the sealed environment. Because each signature is derived from the data itself, changing even a single character of the results, the source entries, or the processing logs would produce an entirely different signature. That is what makes every record tamper-evident: signatures only match if nothing has been altered.
Keep the records. Hand over the proof.
